Tiv Statue Sold
The Tiv people come from the left bank of the Benue River in Nigeria and their figures are typically naturally proportioned with round heads. Often they are carved with scarification at the corners of the mouth and a crested coiffure. They are traditionally linked with marriage and childbirth.
